Basic Format:

Director's name (Director). (Year of release). Title of motion picture [Film]. Production company.

Example:

Anderson, W. (Director). (1998). Rushmore [Film]. American Empirical Pictures; Touchstone Pictures.

  • if more than one production company, separate with a semicolon 

Basic Format:

Executive Producer's name(s). (Executive Producer). (Date range of release). Title of series [TV Series]. Production company(s).

Example:

Butchard, S., Marchant, N., & Neame, G. (Executive Producers). (2015-2022). The last kingdom [TV Series]. Carnival

     Film and Television.

 

 

Basic Format:

Person's name or group's name who posted the video. (Date of publication). Title of video [Video]. Website host. URL

Example:

Psyched for Nature. (2021, June 10). How to find owls [Video]. YouTube. https://youtu.be/g5w9nj2Lxyg

Basic Format:

Recording artist. (Year of release). Album title [Album]. Record label.

Example:

The Band. (1968). Music from big pink [Album]. Capitol Records.

 

NOTE ON CAPITALIZATION: USE SENTENCE CASE CAPITALIZATION FOR SOURCE TITLES. CAPITALIZE THE FIRST WORD OF THE TITLE, ALL PROPER NOUNS AND THE FIRST WORD OF A SUBTITLE.
